CPSC - VGB 2008 Main Drain Covers recalled
CPSC forces recall of VGB 2008 Main Drain Covers, purchased on or after 12/19/2008 or install on a wading pool or in ground spa. This recall was required due to the certifying agencies failed to properly test and rate the recalled for the proper flow of water volume. Your pool may not even have a flow rate that exceeds the true flow rate of the VGB covers, but the CPSC has made no allowance to certify your pools flow rate. The cost of labor and the replacement cover is the responsibility of the Drain Cover manufacturer. There are shortages of available products due to no certified cover may exist to replace your installed cover. Only covers install by approved installation companies will be reimbursed for labor charges. Read more »
